Many stories go unheard, untold

Many suffer the abuse

Silently

They bear the burden

Of a crime, they have not committed

And take the punishment without speaking

Taunted, jeered, beaten, abused

They withstand the worst of the unknown

Suffer at the hands of those

Who feel that they are superior?

Tell me, can the crime be forgiven?

They live in the darker side of life

Scars hidden

Tears stifled

Where as the people who harassed them

Live carefree

These victims are

Bullied, abused, used, raped

They have to tolerate the dominance of others

Lips tight shut smiles while facing others

While the eyes cry out for help

They have done nothing wrong

Just because they are weak

No one has the right

To do wrong with them

Just with mere punishments to the guilty

Can the crime be forgiven?

Because it leaves a scar on those

Who suffered.
