My house.

Where each room gets its own window.

Where outlets are unevenly dispersed.

Where doors don't shut all the way.

And only one locks in the secrets.

Where one wall shares so much,

But the other keeps a dreamcatcher.

We don't think about the dreamcatcher.

It is there, and we are here, that's it.

Where currtens aren't even, and neither are blinds.

Where the carpet isn't straight, nor is it clean.

Where the heat stays in one spot.

Where everything broke at one point or another.

Where things don't match.

Where memories were made.

I don't like it here. It feels so lonely.

I have things within these walls.

Outside, however, nothing much exists.

Music fills these rooms.

And the stench of fresh food.

This place makes me love it.

This place makes me hate it.

Where each room has a window.

And the windows have a view.

But this house means nothing.

With just me, but not you.
