I don’t need a lot, Just the whole world.
I have small dreams,
Dream of all the riches of the world, Of Diamonds and pearls.
I don’t need a lot, just the whole world.
I have small Needs,
Need to be the best of all, anything I touch turns to gold.
I don’t need a lot, just the whole world.
I have small wants,
Want all the fame and money, bows, applause and all.
I don’t need a lot, just the whole world.
I have small desires,
Desire to live my life before I die.
I don’t need a lot, just the whole world.

If this is a first attempt, then it's very good (without sounding patronising , I hope!). I like the juxtaposition of small dreams for big 'wants', a concept that changes with wealth, ideal, religion, etc. What is my want is another person's need.
