It was a beautiful day,
And I yelled on my friend-Hey,
We are already late, no more delay,
He looked from above and said okay………………

He came down and said I will drive,
I said okay and gave him a high five,
This is the story of the day which I would want to revive,
And would like to cherish each moment of this day till I am alive…………..

We had to pick up another one of our friends,
And most importantly, we had to pick our girlfriends,
Today was the day to spend our internship stipends,
To roam around together with hands locked with hands……………

Phone was ringing with my girlfriend on other side,
And I spanned my view along the roadside,
My friend in blue and white coming for his life's ride,
He snatched the keys and sat inside…………………..

My girlfriend was first to be picked,
And on the list her name was ticked,
But so hard on my leg she kicked,
For being late, in this way she punished………………….

Then we moved on to the second in the list,
My friend's girlfriend cleared our doubt's mist,
My friend went to her to assist,
And only one remained now that was the gist……………….

Mixed feelings of excitement and shyness was there,
As we arrived at the movie theatre,
Third on the list was along with us here,
So joyful was every second as love was in the air…………….

So we grabbed six tickets of a super-duper hit,
And those were the last tickets from the kit,
Unfortunately (:P), it was first row where we had to sit,
First row was never so comfortable, we admit……………

We felt movie finished with a blink of an eye,
And we all said the theatre a goodbye,
Don’t know why we still felt so shy,
With a smile on our face we looked towards the sky…………………

Now, hunger was the thing which we all could feel,
And thus we went to a restaurant for some meal,
There was no fight on who will pay the bill,
Who didn’t pay, I won’t reveal (:P)………………………..

But now the girls were getting late,
And it was the time to separate,
The end had come to a romantic date,
In the complete day, solitary moment to hate………………….

We hugged our girlfriends and said bye,
And then we friends took a deep sigh,
{Flashback over}
Why anybody let this feeling of love die?
And why the one who still feels the same is only I?………………..
