This is to all the people out there who think they can’t do it.
For the people who stand in front of the mirror and cry their hearts out
For the people who hurt themselves.
For the people who give up.
There’s hope.
Someone does love you.
Your story’s been finalised.
Your chapter awaits.
Turn the page.
Because you never know,
Someone could one day just throw you some red heels and eyeliner.
-------------

I miss the days when I thought that growing up would be the greatest thing.

Innocent statements...
”I’ll be able to drive!”
“I’ll go anywhere I want!”
“Life is going to be easy.”

But all that crumbled and I found myself buried in the reality of life.
“School is getting harder.”
“I failed again…”
“When did the world become so evil?”

I no longer yearn for the years of experience.
I no longer desire to see what the future holds.
The loss of innocence.
The realization.
The contempt.
The world that I had envisioned so idealistically had fallen apart in my hands, and as I watched it crumble and fall away in front of my very eyes, I knew there was nothing I could do about it but just watch and stare.
