Have you ever felt like this?

Remember that feeling?
The outburst of love?
You kick common sense out,
With one last harsh shove.
Then you fall,
Into love eternity,
Hoping that the party won’t end too early,
And you can’t sleep,
You can’t eat,
You skip whilst you walk on the street,
You smile at conversations,
You make reservations,
You act completely crazy,
The rest of your life hazy,
For the present,
Is the best present you’ve got,
People say it won’t last,
But you hope not.
And you smile at the stars,
Heart’s rapid like an engine of a car,
And you thank the Lord,
For you’ve got everything you’ve ever adored.

I really like this, but it seems a bit unfinished. Perhaps that's just my take on it, but I loved the images. I can easily recall doing all those things only a year ago, and how lovely it was.
Sometimes I think we are single to give us a moment to appreciate the little things we once took for granted. Very lovely piece.
Aaaah, would you mind finishing it?;D! I don't mind, I mean, I know it needs a little bit more work:) So if you have any suggestions, it's fine!
I agree, being single does make you really grateful for what you had and what you hope you will have in the future!
Thank you for the comment;

i really like this, i've felt like this at one point in time, only it was a huge mistake for me, nice job.
I gather you are comming out of a funk! Well, this is a hell of a good way to write positive!
Great job!
That's pretty...I do remember the feeling when I first fell in love...only he broke my heart because his was not mine. He told me he "liked" me, and, though I tried to keep a tentative state of mind, I fell into the deep trap
that is so affectionately called love. I loved him, but he didn't love me. So he just "changed his mind". Simple as that. That was the first cut, and was the deepest. It didn't seem to matter much to him that he changed his mind...it was no different as if he had simply changed his mind about what shirt he would wear...But it meant everything to me. It meant I had just lost the best thing that I had in my life, and was alone again, perhaps forever...Ugh..sorry...I'm rambling. Great job anyway.
No, it's fine. I like knowing out there, that there are people that have felt the pain of heartbreak. I wrote this poem on a positive note, because I'm kind of forcing myself to hope for another love, someone that will come into my life and make me smile.
I hate heartbreak, it does nothing at all for me, and with all the guys I know, none of them have been heartbroken. It's always seems to be them to break the girl first.
Positivity is best in these situations, even if you don't want to be positive:)
You put together a great, easy rhyming poem, that pretty much describes that first rush you get from a new relationship. Got a "LIKE' from me! Positive looks good on you!
Love it! So beautiful :D. Kinda sad when it ended but there great words put together in an artistic way to express something so delicate and complicated. Well done! :)
