The Queen of the Ravens
In a land amidst the misty spires
In a world filled with hopes and desires
On an obsidian throne built by wicked mavens
Sits the Queen of the Ravens.
She rules her kingdom with insidious command
The people fear that their death is at hand
Her majesty devastates entire cities with a single spell
The Queen of the Ravens will easily quell.
But then rose a hero, strong and swift
Climbing and crawling, he crosses the rift
The hero rides past the castle gate
And storms the scene, not too late
To save the kingdom from the queen, terrible and cruel
To strike her down with his sword, to end her rule.
The hero bursts into her chambers
In an attempt to destroy the fruits of her labors
The Queen of the Ravens shrieks, summoning her birds
More horrifying and wretched then it is told in words.
Spells were tossed
Blows were swapped
But alas, after extensive battle
The hero plunges his sword into her black heart, and the walls did rattle
From the evil quake
The land did shake
For the Queen of Ravens,
Was no more.
