He sat in the old wooden chair in front of his computer, staring blankly at it as if he could see beyond the screen and see the girl he was talking to. It was pitch black, yet he could see everything as if the sun was shining directly into his room. The air conditioner was whizzing in the back of his room, and the music from the speakers was blaring, but he heard nothing but her sweet, soft voice echoing in his ears. He closed his eyes and pictured her flowing brown hair, her full lips, her beautiful hazel eyes. He wished he could feel her soft skin on his calloused fingertips, but he knew such a chance would never present itself. He let out a sigh of defeat and opened his eyes slowly. The screen was bright to his eyes, but they quickly adjusted. He clicked on the orange flashing tab and read her message slowly and carefully. He closed his eyes again, but smiled wide.

Tragic with a capital T says: I love you.
