I believe my most successful writing piece is my book review of Hatchet. This is also my favorite writing piece because the book Hatchet is an amazing book. This book inspired me to write that book review. This book review I believe by far the best writing piece I have written this year and would draw any reader toward it.

By writing this piece I have learned a lot about my writing. I have learned that my writing is based on whether I enjoyed the piece I am writing. Since I immensely enjoyed the book Hatchet the writing piece was extraordinary. On the other hand, during many pieces including the book review, I rush. When I rush I make simple mistakes such as spelling errors and sentence structure.

Next year while writing I will remember the many things I learned from my mistakes. During the year I learned to put commas during a pause in a sentence, for instance, before a stop. Also, certain words should be used such as but. The sentence structure of a piece if very important. I learned that certain words can be used in a sentence in some places better than others. For example, there has been many times I have done things I regretted; opposed to, There have been many times I have done things I regretted. By writing multiple pieces I have also learned better vocabulary. I will continue to write, whether it is for work or for fun.

My most successful piece was my book review on Hatchet. This was a successful piece because of my progress in writing throughout the year. I have learned new information and learned to improve some old things. I can now write a piece confidently without doubting myself.
