Why must I grow into perfection?

Why must I learn the same lesson?

Why must I fall some many times?

Why must I fight for what is mine?

"If I changed you fully,

Who could you relate to?"

"I know what I am doing,

I'm the one who made you."

"If I handed you,

Everything that is yours,

You'd become lazy,

Focus on trusting me,

And you'll see me daily."

Lord, why do I blame you?

Why must I blame me?

Why couldn't I have been,

One of those men,

With you, nailed to a tree?

"I give you my love,

Believe I am sovereign,

I have forgiven you,

Forgive your self,

And approach my throne,

With confidence,

You are clay pot in my hands,

Only I can take a broken,

Veasel and make it new,

Dont worry

About what you see now,

You'll like what you become,

When I'm through."

Yes Lord,

I know you can do all things,

You'll never leave me,

Nor forsake me,

Understand Lord,

For me this is new.

"I do, now understand, I do."
