Fly away and buy me time.

To be so close and walk away

A thousand miles from yesterday 

Flashing lights and a silly thought
Stars on your tongue and a moon filled cup
Could last a minute anyway
This moment but a transient stay
To be so shy, a room caved in
Will stay a handful of What If's then
Above soulful clouds in heartfelt blue 
To remind you that what's done is true
A thousand miles from yesterday 
And ten million more, in a way
