For I Am Death

Creeping through my doorstep lies Death. He awaits for the time to come. The time where my world will be done. “Hear me, my dear child, life cannot continue for the found. Look around and your time will be bound. As I await your death, you will be mine to caress. How swift will be your death.” As I await my death, he waits for me in every corner. Death is something that cannot be escaped. Through the hope and lies I feel not safe. For within my life Death has come. The feeling of fear is something I will hold dear, for within this fear lies the true seer. The seer of truth and lies, gives me the riddle of life. “Within the hidden clock lies the flock of hidden stars that open the lock. Within it gives the truth of life and death. Your choice will be carried away by cicadas that sing the end of days. Listen to the sea and give your life away.” The riddle is complete and true. For now I know what I must do. To hide is a perishable sight, but to take Death head on would the best climax in my life. As I creep to Death’s door, I sing with the cicadas who lead me to my death. “Death is your wish, and I might as well give. Hear me now, for none shall be with woe, for you have came to your betrothed. Come now to be grand and rule with me this frightful land.” “My death was swift, but what have I sinned? Of course I’ll rule the land, because the one who is grand is me and not you. Return to your pitiful hole, where I can hear you no more. For within me, I hold the truth of what you are is nothing true. To take my name and give me pain, I should kill you and throw you away. To take my name and give me Hell, what were you thinking you insolent prey.” He cries and wales his pain away. He then brings himself to his knees. “Where I first heard your voice, Death could not have been you. I wished and wished for it to not be true. I locked you up in that human for your beauty should not have been sinned. I wished to carry your sin when we ruled, and give to you my love of course. I beg of you to let me live to tell the tale of Death’s wondering beauty.” “How your lies can touch me so deep. Yet the riddle the seer gave me has peaked. The truth I heard through the seas, which was hidden in the lock of the stars that was hidden in the clocks, Death is me and no one else. Your punishment will begin as I see right. Deteriorate now from my sight.” His echoing screams are heard throughout Hell. His pain gives me enjoyment for I am Death and no one else. For everyone knows now that the way to trick Death is only Death himself.
