 The Silver Dagger

Can you hear my dying screams?

Covered up within the sacred blood

As I lay beneath the hidden dagger

I heard the silencing call of the young child’s demander

Running around without a single plea

You took my sudden breath and watched as I was decapitated

Within the hidden stars I wrote the truth

Can you decode them with your sharp eye?

Look now at my crumpled body

For it was you who tore me apart,

With a single swing I saw the silver hart.

How I longed for you to take my breath.

But with a violent face you took me away.

Hear me now,

The chilling voice at night.

I will awake you with a single scream,

For you cannot run and hide.

Hear for me .

Scream for me.

Cry for me.

Crawl for me.

Die for me.

For these were the things you took from me.

Without a single plea,

The silver dagger that lay beneath my feet.

As I took my life without a single glance back.
