I was feeling a little archaic, but I really like this particular poem.

Whisper, whisper…tell me softly-what I need to hear.
Leave a sweet and gentle kiss to wash away the fears.
My world starts spinning crazily each time that you are near.
Are Mab and Eros playing games upon the strings of my broken heart?

Dance away quite gracefully-inside the merry flame.
Dry up the ocean of your tears,
All collected through the years.

Gather them and fling them wide,
O’er the holly of winter-tide.
Collect your pearly mistletoe,
Under which you’ll plant a love to grow.

Weave your web and dance the dance,
And gently kiss the hand of chance.

A hand on your side, to gently guide
Your fortune from your bane,
So dance around the Beltane tree,
And take a lover reverently.

Will Mab and Eros heal or maim
My gentle heart within their game?

So watch the moon and watch the stars,
And watch as time heals your battle scars.

Weave your web and dance the dance,
And gladly kiss the lips of chance.

Reap your wheat and pick your heather,
And carefully, do mind the weather.

Take the torn pieces of your heart,
And mend it carefully, part by part.

Weave your web and dance the dance,
And carefully mind the signs of chance.

So, chance the fates and leave fate to chance,
And dance your quick and merry dance.

Take and give-as freely as you want to live.
Share the labor and share the favors.
Share your knowledge and live your life,
And make some woman a happy wife.

Weave your web and dance the dance,
And bed the bonny lass of chance.

Live your seasons, with the rhyme
Of quick-passing and everlasting time.
Pick your herbs, and pick your berries,
And passionate-love the girl you married.

Weave your web and dance the dance,
And love the children given you chance.

Raise them well and teach them well,
And walk your path while living-well.

Weave your web and dance the dance,
And rest you peaceful in the arms of chance.
