Another poem I wrote in middle school(: I think my only good things come from middle school, haha.

She stood on the shore of the beach, the cool sand between her toes. The smell of the ocean breeze was all too familiar. The wind made a veil of shining gold hair across her face. She felt the cool, fabric of her jeans sticking to her knees; heard the overlapping of the waves, the calls of the seagulls. She cherished the warmth of the sun, warming her freckle spotted skin. Bending down, she ran her hand through the sand, feeling the shells; the water splashing up over her thin, fragile wrists. She stood back up, tasting the tear falling down her face. She yearned so much to be able to see the scene before her.

This is my favourite one. c: By the way, she used to be a red head. But that was before I was a red head...It's odd now. And if I read it to people they think it's about me. >.> So now she's blonde. 8D My natural colour. TT3TT
