Just a poem I wrote back in Middle School. It's kind of dark...Of course, I was in middle school, haha.

The old doors creaked,
Like the chilling sound of something wild.
Wind flowing through the broken window,
Like the whispers of a lost child.

The still shattered glass on the ground,
A tragic memory of the past.
They didn’t know they would find love,
Didn’t know it would crumble that fast.

She left him alone in his personal hell,
He went insane, filled with rage and sorrow.
Drenched in pain, soon he fell.

He died young and terrible death,
They said the madness took a great part,
But in reality he left the world,
Due to a broken heart.

I think he threw himself out a window. A high window.

Neat poem

The words flowed nicely, though in a few spots the rhythm sounded a tad bit off.

It is slightly reassuring knowing that other people went through the dark middle school phase. Even though I have yet to outgrown mine.

Overall I liked it, great job >;)
