Attached.

As a child to the womb, and torn away at birth.

Life is full of attachment.

Living a life afraid to attach oneself to anything and anyone

Afraid of being ripped away from what you have grown attached to

A life of attachment.

Attaching to family, to lovers, to friends, to life.

All to lose what you have learned to love and care for.

How can one live when everything and everyone they have loved has been ripped away from them?

How can one find the way to breath, to speak, to walk, to talk, to LIVE after losing life?

Terrified of hellos that soon turn to farewells.

Attached.

I swear to never attach myself again.

I promise I will never allow myself to grow close to another.

For I fear the thought of loving.

And I live in terror of losing.

Saying goodbye to my love, to my family, to my life.

I will no longer grow attached.

I will run from attachment.
