I'm the only one that can see through your mask,

the beast of you, past your holes and your cracks.

Past your imperfections,

the other side of your life lessons,

the good side to all your bad questions.

I can see past all your shades of black,

through the cloud of lies,

there's sadness in those eyes.

I can see through all your fake faces and all your fake sighs.

Your just a good man who wasn't afraid to jump,

forget the fear of the cliff, it was the silence of tongues.

It drove you insane, broke into your thoughts, and changed your brain.

but I have to love you for who you are-

not your fake laughing and not your fake scars
