Unconditional Eternal Security: Truth or Fiction
We live in a time where so many people live by their opinions or the opinions of others. The Word of God has final say in everything. You can’t go by what grandma, mama, daddy, pastor, or anyone for that matter, has to say about the scriptures. Are you willing to stake your soul on what someone says the scriptures say? I’m not willing to do that.
I do not profess to be right with God, I am trying to get to the place in my life that I can. I have always believed in living free from sin, since I was around the age of four or five. I know some think it was because of a minister, but that is not true. God revealed to me the truth at the altar of a Baptist church in Lithia Springs, Georgia. Now, many will say the devil revealed that. That is ignorant reasoning seeing as why would the devil tell someone not to sin?
I have been studying the Scriptures for years and have never believed in eternal security. It is a damnable lie that has sent many, and still sending many to hell. I will expose this doctrine through the light of God’s Word and if you are honest-hearted God will reveal to truth to you, if you aren’t and prefer to live your own way and be lied to God will allow you to believe that lie and be damned. That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (II Thessalonians 2:12).
Where did this lie begin? It goes all the way back to the Garden of Eden. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die (Genesis 3:4). God already had told Adam and Eve that the day that they eat of the tree of good and evil they would die, but Satan convinced them otherwise. The moment they ate of that tree not only did death enter their bodies, but their souls, as well. We have no record that Adam and Eve ever got back to God and I truly doubt they did or we would know it. How pitiful to have started out with such a relationship with God that He came down and walked with them and they threw it away over one lie.
So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. (Genesis 3:24). How long God had the garden guarded we do not know, but He had to keep man from the tree of life because if they had ate of it after sin they would have lived forever in sin and sicknesses.
The doctrine of eternal security; once saved always saved, is the reason the Christian world has little influence today. The world needs to see people that will stand with God without compromise, but there are few that will. The world today is full of people that have gone mad over entertainment in all its forms; movies, television, music, sports and so on. There are so called Christians out there that will watch ungodly movies on Saturday night and warm the pews on Sunday morning. That put on may work with people, but with God it won’t. God has had about enough of that hypocrisy and is about to put an end to it.
God gave the message in loving, tender-kindness when He told Adam and Eve if they ate of the tree they would die, but they didn’t listen. The same message has gone forth today. Two-thousand years ago Jesus was placed on a tree and the sacrifice was made that whosoever will can be sin free. Jesus did not come all the way from Heaven to allow people to live just any old way. The thinking of some people today is frightful; they don’t even use common sense when it comes to God.
Many are sincere in what they believe; having been deceived, but they are sincerely wrong. You can either live free from sin or live in bondage. If you continue in sin, what has God delivered you from? The devil has caused people to take the Word of God, the voice of God, and twist it into all kinds of falsehoods that deceive people. Many declare to be on their way to Heaven, when in fact they are going straight to hell.
God has final say on who gets into HIS Heaven, and sinners aren’t on the list. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. (I Corinthians 6:9, 10). Does that sound like you can do what you want? There will be people in hell over just their tongue sending them there. The doctrine of eternal security is a deadly promise.
What you must remember is Heaven is God’s, but He made a way for us to escape it through His Son Jesus Christ. The stipulations into Heaven or His, not mine or yours, and we will have to go His way. Heaven is God’s and His Word is the Gatekeeper.
