For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (Romans 8:6). When you are lo longer carnally minded, you do not tell or listen to dirty jokes. You have clean eyes, clean ears, and clean speech.

Does this verse sound like carnally minded people are going to Heaven? He said it is death; not life. This verse does not show once in grace, always in grace.

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall (I Corinthians 10:12). We can only stand through the grace of God, continually leaning on Jesus. You cannot let the world and its corruption influence your walk with God.

Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh (Romans 8:12). We do not owe the flesh anything, we are not in debt to it. The Children of God are joint-heirs with Christ. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together (Romans 8:17).

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live (Romans 8:13). How much more clear can the Word be? Through the Spirit we are to keep the flesh under control. This is why the Holy Ghost Baptism is so important. It is not necessary if you die to go to Heaven, but He helps to light our paths. The Blood of Jesus and the Holy Spirit are sufficient to keep self buried.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin (I John 1:7).

Being cleansed from sin makes one a candidate for Heaven. God put a strait gate down here to enter through called Cavalry.

Jesus conquered Death, Hell, and the Grave. He took the shadow of death away for those that die holy, serving Him. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death (Psalm 23:4a) David was before the time of Jesus, the shadows came with death. Now, Jesus and the Holy Spirit help the Children of God cross Jordan, but one must be holy. Just as God threw Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden, He will keep sin out of Heaven and the vessels with it.

Jesus said, Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect (Matthew 5:48). Sin is not perfect. When Jesus said perfect, He meant in holiness, sin free. Jesus would not tell us to do the impossible, giving us unnecessary burdens.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12). Now, how could one be a son of God with a seed of sin? That is not possible.

Failure through weakness or lack of knowledge does not make one a child of the devil. If there is a weakness in your prayer, fasting, or in reading the Word of God does not make you backslidden.

The Bible tells you that you can know the will of God, but if you are not willing to do His will, why should He give you the knowledge of it? This is why so many Christians wonder through life in a haze for they would not do God’s will if He gave it to them.

Many Christians today want the blessings of God, but do not want to help take His Gospel to the world. They are stingy with their money that could be used to get the truth to the nations. If God cannot have your wallet, He does not have the whole you.

They choose to sit on the sidelines not doing anything for God while billions of people are lost and undone without Him. I know when I do get right I will give all of me this time. I will leave nothing in reserve. I will turn my back on the world completely, its pleasures and its sins.
