Summary

A War has completely ruined the earth. The days after the war are very gloomy as it has changed the lives of all- by causing harm and disturbance to others. War is only because of the problems of man, not by the various elements of nature but only by man. When I pass my Native Land, I can only see weathered rocks and shattered trees. Earlier there, there was a beautiful temple, with a green meadow and a lovely lake. It is not there now and I am in melancholy trying to remember these beautiful sights.

My Native Land

The days have passed by after the war-

And now I am very gloomy, thinking that

How war can change the lives of others-

Causing harm and disturbance!

War is because of man! Not of birds,

Nor of trees, Nor of the white clouds floating in the sky,

Only because of man!

Only because of man!

When I pass my Native Land, I see

That the beautiful temple and the lovely lake which was there-

Is now gone- They are replaced with

Weathered rocks and broken trees which makes me feel bad.

Where is that Mother Land of mine?

Which was beautiful and heart-warming? Where is that Mother land of mine?
