Psychosis in retreat.

Between my soul and the dark place

There is a vision in between my eyes

Under my skin, between my soul and the dark place

And it’s somewhat frightening –

Undetected by the machines and the spiders

And it keeps on coming, everlasting –

A bit like drowning, over and over again.

Forever, the taste, metal –

I can feel it on my skin

And I can taste it on my fingers

So unwanted like the end of summer –

Yet inevitable – it comes.

I am weak and I cannot see

How the damage is done between you and me –

Though ignorance is bliss

And their harmonies like the birds of spring

I hate them, with all my soul and strength

They are coming, keep on coming –

Into the unpleasant night they are coming.

I am fearful, so much that I quiver

Time shall not heal, nor stand still

For they are not weak

They are strength in numbers

Right before my eyes –

And I weep, lathers of poison

Dead in the night.
