To tell you the truth,

To tell you the truth would

Invite questions of truth,

 

The work I have done,

Invested in and run,

Would be plundered if

Those other people won,

 

I know a lot about everything,

Though I know a lot about nothing,

What am I?

A politician,

Gaged in the past, the present, and the,

Time is an everglade,

No need to compare,

 The toils of the past,

 And the future made fair,

 

We strive to ruin, -ed it,

To construct- ively criticise,

To rea-ppall) with our,

Talk and lies,

 

Any questions of truth?

No ‘we’ ‘advise’.
