The ocean’s tide rises
As the sun is just peeking out over the horizon
I hold you tight in my arms
As a cold breeze circles the room

With out you I would feel like a bird that can’t fly

A car with no wheels
A book with no writing
A person with no soul
You push me away

I try to pull you back in

You say forgive me
I say you can’t be forgiven because the deed has not been set in stone
You hold me in your arms and say good-bye
Children’s laughter echoes in the hallway

Tears escape my eyes

You smile and a light glows behind you
Our first kiss time stopped
Our first date you never stopped smiling
We danced with no music
We played a card game with no cards
We read a book with no words

We made a cloudy day become a sunny day

A simple Lullaby
Twist up the ballerina
And watch it dance to the soft music
It spins in circle never ending until the music stops

You fell out of my arms

Into the grasps of death
Leaving me with the newborn offspring
Forever my heart is yours
As you walk off the balcony up in the clouds

You put a smile on my face because you make every day worth living for.
