A poem about hoping for that place, possibly in the afterlife, that will bring us peace. A place that feels like home and is void of doubt - that place that a jaded mind longs for.

I’ll stand but fall

as though nothing at all,

I’ll slave until the end

despite the infinite pain,

bestowed upon me and you

Sorrow has no cure

and there's no heaven for any us,

there's only disappointment

in a world of strange,

The hereafter, I'll wait
