Alright, so this is where I sit
Just sitting here waiting by the phone
Waiting for you to call \"\"
Sitting here all alone

I don’t know what happened
But I know that it’s all true
I’m all alone in this world;
just sitting here missing you

There's many things I’m thinking about,
as tears start flooding my eyes,
all of what you told me;
were they the truth or all lies?

I don’t know what happened
Things suddenly fell apart
I don’t know what happened
Is it somehow part of my fault?

It feels like I haven't talked to you,
For what seems to be like a lifetime
You don’t know, but I really need you
Unlike what you tell me, it's not a lie

But what would happen if you did call?
Would I be angry, happy, or sad?
If I heard your voice on the phone,
would it make me relieved, upset, or mad?

But I guess only time can tell
To see if you'll call in a while
The least I can do by sitting here,
is put on a happy face and smile

But then again, how will you know?
The smile I show on my face
How are you going to know,
If it is a real one or if it is fake?

But I guess I’ll be fine
Cause I know that I have my friends
And I know that unlike you,
I’ll have them till the end

But please, don’t get me wrong
I have moments where I’m bitchy and upset,
I may say a lot of hurtful things,
But they're all things I’ll regret

But for now, I’ll continue sitting here
Sitting here waiting by the phone
Waiting for you to call
Sitting here all alone
