A short poem which deals with the feelings of the writer when she is forced to move to a new school...a new neighborhood...and it ain't the first time she has been made to this..her parent's job makes them move often...

TIME GO SLOW

It's a bright day and you lazily lay

In the farm admist the sun rays and hay

Your friends surround you

Your mood is jolly and gay

Then the alarm bell rings

You open you eyes and realize

What you dreamt is your past

Life has moved on fast

Things pass by and you just fail to realize

the giggles,the laughter,the fun has subsidized

You stand dazed and mesmerized

So much has changed ,the time has flown by!!

Like a bubble in the ocean

The cozy life has burst

And now you stand with fresh challenges

And no one to trust

So quick has the change come

That you feel sick and crumb

You dont wish to fall

But its getting tough to remain clung

Go slow fly soft

Time give me time to acquaint

or else i will faint

Be generous because this change is tremendrous!!!!

Beautiful, so true in many aspects.
Life can pass by while you are still caught up in the dreams of the past, the longings desires hopes of the past so dominate that you miss experiencing true life where it is at the time and moment.
One moment you are in School and College and in a bubble like atmosphere and the next thrust out into the real world of life, kill or be killed, gone all the crutches and supports now only YOU remain. This is but the first of many such experiences that seem to pop up like slides along the road, where are the connections where are the slip roads!
A lovely poem you wrote here, though maybe my interpretation is not yours ha! But one takes what one gets, there are many facets to a diamond are there not!

So true, there indeed are many facets to a diamond. I am glad that you liked my writing. Your interpretation to my poem is deeper than I had when I wrote it two years ago but certainly the core meaning remains the same for both of us. Nice one, your choice of words was amazing... Life is a journey where we meet people, but this flow of time makes us forget all those memories, and in this fast paced life, we can't look back for we have to move on.

Sorry I don't read romance, so I checked this poem instead.

wow, so true to the word feelings!! GREAT , VERY SPECIAL! Time is so fast, I used to think it takes forever to have Christmas but now that I'm older, it seems too fast to realize. Yes, I understand what you said, I surely wish that time can go slow so we can take all of this life activity easier without the frantic. TRULY LOVE THIS, TIME IS TOO QUICK, ENJOY EACH MOMENT!!

and yeah time passes by so fast, we never realize that we are making memories. It's only after something ends, we realize what it had meant for us and we would miss it. And as you said, TIME IS TOO QUICK, ENJOY EACH MOMENT...:)

Great! I enjoyed reading it. I can relate to it. I have moved a lot in my life too. I also have noticed how time just seems to fly sometimes, and how things seem to change too quickly.
