ANGER, THE GREATEST KILLER
Completely exhausted on the couch I sat,
Watching the puckish acts of my cat.
At the stroke of ten we began our chat,
I was about to tell my dexterity and get a pat.
There came a call which took my pal away,
Had it not come my way we would have been gay.
My anger inside emerged and brandished its play,
The satan mastered and made my brain clay.
We knew it was an absurd and feckless fight;
Our mind was abducted by some demon tight.
Neither did we loathe nor shout for right;
But it was hell to be numb that odd night.
Later love barged in, with all its mighty store;
And made our heart and mind so light to adore.
We showered our care and concern in torrential pour;
Proving our love and warmth to the utmost core.
