there are so many ships that enter and leave your warm loving harbor
some are safely docked
others bring the torment of the ocean with them

so many children that run into your comforting arms
some nestle in the nooks of your skin
others enter your soft grasp then thrash violently

but your are the wise black widow that eats its destructive partners
you stand tall with big black flowing garments that wrap your dearest
and engulf the threatening
those allowed to enter your lair bask in the warmth
i, amung the allowed
observe the amassed power
