While drawing cracks,

I realize that we are wandering for our parents in our peers faces,

Looking for that comforting embrace that wipes away our fears

with a wet rag that feels good against your closed eyes,

We want someone to tell us not to worry anymore,

it's going to be ok

and we slip into safety,

There is a longing to be taken care of

so we can rest easy in our cribs,

We are all lost children in a public place looking desperately for our fathers and mothers
