I took Wordsworh poem about a rainbow and made it a little more accesible to children, while also incorporating the idea of how rainbows really function.

My heart leaps up when I behold

A rainbow in

the sky

It means the rain has gone away

And now the sun has come

I go and play, laughing

Under the sun's golden ray's

I skip and run around the earth

Until I reach a big pit

And suddenly, in soggy ground, I see

A full rainbow as it truly be

The colors go round and round

A full  circle, half above and half below

this forsaken hole.

What a pretty sight!

A full rainbow just before the break of night.
