Life is like a highway,
many come and go...

Life is like a highway

Many come and go

Use you on their way

Bitterness is all they show

Seldom see your good

They spit at the smallest faults

All they can be is rude.

When they’re all gone, you realize

Distance was all they’d shown

You sprawl out endlessly

Spent, useless and lonely

Only the moon and the stars

To cool down your scathing scars…
