A single touch, a simple laugh

One everlasting beat,

Of a heart that seems to last

In the colours of the world.

The black, and the greys and the blues.

Collide and wash away the tidal waves

Where there are no colours,

Monotone words and deadly pulsing

Into nothing, a space where the Spectrum lives

Ultraviolet, infra red, prism of light

Strike each other in a burst of bright light

The nothing becomes the Spectrum,

Hidden behind a rainsoaked cloud,

Watching, waiting, bursting.

Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet,

All cascading into one formation,

That explodes time and time again,

From a single heartbeat,

That lasted a second.
