What is life about? What is love?

A man alone standing before a grave,
Of the Love he couldn't save.
Every day he visits that place,
Never a smile on his face.
Standing out against time,
Like an old storybook rhyme.
Defining moments of your life,
Born from grief and built in strife.
Is this what life's made of?
Could this be true love?
As the house burned in front of his eyes,
He realized his life was full of lies.
He heard them say she had to be left behind,
He ran in without a mind.
I bring you proof before your eyes;
Not covered in shit, not surrounded by Flies.
You define the moments of your life.
Stand up against the strife!
This IS what life's made of,
But is this true love?
A nun stands before the people,
The ones trying to burn the steeple.
They throw rocks but still she stands,
As her only love demands.
Sounds like a tale,
that's bound to fail.
How does one define their lives,
Accomplish the one thing for which everyone strives?
Finding out what your made of,
Maybe now you know true LOVE.
As he sits by her bed,
Running his fingers across her head.
He was too slow for that metal slug,
That's when he decides to pull the plug.
Can you feel it?
Do you see it?
Life is what you make it!
Can you take it?
Jump in front of,
The bullet of true love.
