For Christmas last year, my sister and brother in law organized a family trip to Sedona, AZ. What an amazing place. All of our sightseeing destinations were spectacular. If you have not been to this beautiful part of the country, I highly recommend it! The only down side of the week was our day at the Grand Canyon. Several had never seen it, and it had been a long time for the rest of us. So off we went in two cars to view the majestic canyon. In a blizzard. It was very…white. So much for that hot idea, but we did get a good laugh about it later.
I won’t lie. I burst into muffled laughter – only muffled because I had my hands firmly clamped over my mouth. Then I quickly found my kid, who was looking up patron saints in a thick book on the counter. “Come over here,” I said. “ And get your phone out. You are not going to believe this!”
This is not intended to be inflammatory – I simply will be fascinated with whatever explanations I receive. This ought to be good!
I have published this story in the past. In a discussion, my readers wondered if Santa, having maintained his friendship with Jesus, also made an appearance at the Last Supper. Whadaya know!
