This actually was an assignment for English. We had to write a poem about someone who you though represented yesterday, today, and tomorrow the most to you. I wrote it in God's perspective. Hope you like it! Enjoy!

The day before today was a dream
A distant memory
You were the performer and I was the audience.
It was a flash of light.
A blip of dialogue
Connections
Feelings
That I watched
While you stole the show.

On the present day,
I am a part of your life.
And I share that day with you.
I am in your heart.
It’s different but the same.
In a way,
This day is melded into everyday.

The day after today is a door waiting to be opened.
An adventure.
You can choose how it turns out to be.
With your attitude,
Your mindset,
Your goals
And what you believe and hope for.

I just help you along the way…

Wow, this one is cool.
I hope your English teacher was pleased, because I am :)
You've got a cool style and awesome ways of looking at things, I really hope to read more from you soon :)

Thank you! And she loved it a lot. She said she read it in the hallway one day and it gave her goosebumps! :) I'm just happy that my writing moves people that much. Thanks again!
