Loss and greif are predominant in this work of painful non-fiction. I write in the dearest hope that someone will understand my work.

I look through old photographs,

Each one breaks my heart

Tainted memories surface, and fade

Happiness and friendship gone up in smoke

Losing my mind is just a side effect,

Just a hint of the turmoil inside my heart

Misunderstood, we both were

Now I stand alone

My heart ripped apart, no going back

Resisting the urge to scream, I put the photographs back

A book of tear-stained memories, at least, in my mind

Another lost soul,

Another victim of this cruel devil

The one who smiles upon the ruthless murder

The one I shall blame.
