I think when I wrote this (I just discovered it, so it's pretty old) I was talking about a friend of mine that I still feel this way about. Please comment.

Each day I see you trying,

Unconsciously creating my downfall,

Trying to drag me down,

When you can’t even scratch my surface.

Call me evil, call me a brat,

But I’ve learned to hide myself in nothing,

Until you can’t touch me with hate or love.

I’m one of the untouchables,

But also one of the cursed.

I laugh when you fail at hurting me,

When you try to take me down,

And fall into my obvious traps,

But I cry when I try to reach you,

And your heart is full of love,

Because no matter how protected I am,

I am so alone.
