This just kind of something I felt a while back when I was struggling to find myself and to find my place in life (or if I even had one).

It sucked the very life out of me,

Taking my energy and my soul,

Leaving nothing left to look for,

In my poor, empty shell.

Rage. Never raging, but just rage.

Filled to the brim, wanting to break everything I touch.

Hate. Never hateful, just hate.

Hating myself to the core, hating life with its trials,

As it mocks me when I fall.

Depression. Never depressing, but just depressed.

Waiting for the happiness I knew I’d never find,

Depressed beyond belief at my hate and my rage.

Confused. Never confusing, just confused.

Not sure where I’ll go in life,

Or if I’ll make it past my teens.
