I really don't have much to say to this. Comment as you like, or just read it.

It's taken so much of my strength,

Sucking me dry to keep the smile on my face,

And I fear that the next time,

I smile, I shall cry.

I am hollowed out so well by everything,

Because I make myself immune to hurt,

So much that I cannot even feel happiness,

So when I smile, I could cry.

Now I smile at this bitter design of mine,

And though I try to fix myself,

It is like trying to redesign the whole world,

Because my strength is gone,

Because I have tried so hard to make sure,

That when I smile, I shan't cry.

Of course you know now,

Why I do what I do,

And why I am so wasted,

A shell of who I once was before;

Now you see me as me,

And watch that as emotion floods my face,

I smile, I cry.
