strung out
censored and writhing
wasting from a lack of words

spiritless
from all the crushing

strung out
cold stone censored
for merely painting
abysmal images
shot from a societal camera

But expressions disallowed
"Images may be more disturbing
than they appear"

And closer too.

But only for awakened eyes.

?Not for general consumption.
They only want for rainbows
shutting their eyes
to the stench of a life
an honest look
at offensive
could cause a revolution.
They can't have that!

Do you live your life with open eyes?
Veiled, though they must be
truth seekers stand alone
at the abyss

strung out.

Waiting for that next good hit
A push to the edge
the next step on a pained journey
the words which will lead us to our deaths.
