This time the wolf did come

Poem by: Viviana

Summary

Thoughts that could not be bottled. They just came up, like word vomit.

Crying sucks
I’m so incredibly frightened
The nose gets all snotty
I miss them
Salt gets in the mouth
I don’t know where to go
Eyes are all bloodshot
I don’t know what to do
Shaking of the stomach
I’m alone for the first time
The fits slow down
I can’t stay here.
Salt dries on the skin
I’ll be ok
A burst of tears festers
I’ll be ok
They are swallowed away
I’ll be ok
Destination is set
I’ll be ok
I’ll be ok
I’ll be ok…
