Do you have any idea what it feel like to fly!?

I do.

Last spring I was sitting on a hill in my back yard, under a weeping willow. The tall grass swayed and danced around me, gently kissing my skin. Provoking me to move and twist my body with it. A thousand tiny volcanoes erupted within me. They started at my toes and worked all the way up into every hair strand. Rivers rushed down my spine and my rib cage began to separate. A thousand butterflies burst from my chest. Descending from within me, my body began to drift. They took me with them. Ribbon sashayed from my organs, as the butterflies clung to them, lifting me higher and higher. I held my breath. Freedom soared within me, as wind whipped through my hair, caressing my skin. Playful. I was queen of this town, and I took charge from the sky. My own colony of ants, and they didn't know it. Peter pan syndrome had nothing on this. My happy thought was you, beating out of my chest, lifting me higher.

Higher.

Higher. I was so high. Nothing could be this beautiful. I met you in the clouds. Where we belonged. I exhaled and began to fall. Tumbling, twisting, twirling down. Down. Down down. I fell and kept falling. When I hit the ground, the only thing that splattered was a smile on my face.
