This was written years ago when I was 15 years old; I remember it so clear. I was sitting on my bed remembering the time I told one of my close friends that I loved him (haha! young and foolish, wasn't it?). He actually couldn't speak, he never guessed and I was just sitting there with my heart literally wanting my ram out of my chest (my heart had never beaten that fast, I was scared!). I decided to write a poem out of that event in my life, I tried to make it sound old english. After that event, I learnt that no matter how many clues you give a guy, he will never know unless you tell him straight xD

Oh how much I love thee!
But does this love have a fee?
With hugs and kisses I cherish much,
I wish he, too, loved me a bunch.

Why does this love tease me so?
Will it flourish or strike like a bow?
The words I say come at a pause,
Will \"I love you?\" have a good cause?

I can't take no more, I think I'll burst!
My love for him is coming at a thirst.
And as I reveal, he does not speak.
I then wait there, heartbeat at its peak...
