The Broken Wall

I remember now

It has been a long time

Since we’ve sat of the Broken Wall

And talked about life.

We had our ups and downs

Tears and fights

But somehow we’d all

Look forward to the

talks on the Broken wall.

Sands of time are

Running out of the

Hourglass of Life.

We wake up one day

And realize we’re not

That young and

Wonder how did

Those precious moments flicker out-

The talks on the Broken Wall.

The Scenery changes .

We are at office or any place

Of choice or merit,

Reminiscing how did the days flow by

And earnestly wishing for them

To flow back.

Ah! Those talks on the Broken Wall.

Everything is so different .

Sadly, ‘different’ is not the ‘same’.

When something or someone so dear

Getss so alienated

It hurts.

Its never going to be the same

The talks on the Broken Wall.

I remember now

It has been a long time

Since we’ve sat of the Broken Wall

And talked about life.
