Delicate perfection

Two boys speak of love under a streetlamp

With their lips, their hearts.

Snow falls down, perfectly

Around them, sweetly,

Silence in their completeness

It took two hundred lifetimes each

To find a balance such as this,

A balance such as that one moment

No past, no future, just a streetlamp

The snow, the silence

The kiss.
