Craziness, it's brutal.

Caught just a glimpse of you.

I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

I felt your grip burn my arm,

I wanted to run, I wanted to turn

and face you.

Craziness, it's brutal.

It's over, I think it's all supposed to be gone.

All these lingering thoughts creep right back where they shouldn't be.

I can't cry them out,

and now a glimpse of you reminding me you still exist.

A lapse, a void, a hollow

It's where I've learned to be,

since you have nothing left to give me.

Showed me I wasn't part of you

and told me I wasn't the one.

Craziness, it's brutal.

No time to love me any more than you could.
