A A A | A A A

For a minute it all seemed to be the way it was.

Pretending all the time,

I didn't see.

I want to block it out,

there's nothing left inside me now.

One second you were in the dark,

everytime feels like the last.

I keep trying to make you say goodbye to me

and find an ending to this neverending moment with you.

I keep on trying but there's still a shooting pain

because you can't keep me.

It keeps on going through me,

again and again and again

Thought I was yours

I want to numb it but you think it's only temporary.

I try to dull it but it seeps back up again.

You want to show me but I don't get it sometimes.

I play along,

prolong the torture that you think should be mine.

In the steady heat, you make it endless,

you burn out every light.

You fill my life with shaddows

and I thought I was yours.
