she is deeply twisted.

life's memo, she must've missed it.

reveling in her flamboyant ego,

the pain and anguish she won't let go.

 

disaster is always knocking at her door,

but she still won't make the lock secure.

unhinged feelings about what is no longer pure.

an emotion she should not bore.

 

her innocence was served on a platter 

to who? oh what does it matter?

given a chance to regain strength after.

but the memories, like a prisoner it's got her.

 

she seeks to let go; she knows she can.

because no man stands alone, no man is an island.

and she knows she must rise  from this bed of self destruction.

and no longer lead herself into temptation.
