I catch a glimpse of you on the stairs

You're walking her home, showing that you care

Safety is in her wake, he steps lightly by her side

Can't you walk with me too; else in shadows I reside

I Chase them till sunrise, until morn

I Chase them till the breaking dawn

For you, I make thes desperate cries

Unmask your fate, and drown these lies

The blood in our friendship has run

Cold and dry as a broken sun

Dead is the connection between our minds

You are also cold and dry - resigned

Under a primrose and purple sky

Under the stars, the black roots lie

The brances where we used to play

The memories begin to fray

So I run again; shadows I  do chase

To the ends of the world, ;"Make Haste!"

Chase the shadows until I am breathless

Tonight, I will sleep, but sleep will be resltess
